Study Plan for Third Grade

Vision: Consolidate the knowledge acquired in previous grades, deepening Islamic values and promoting the integral development of students, preparing them to face the academic and social challenges of upcoming grades.

Spanish

• Develop critical, respectful, and objective judgment regarding the ideas expressed by others through listening and communicating, both orally and in writing.
• Read texts that convey conventional graphic signals of communication.
• Appreciate the importance and use of mass media and its influence on personal and social communication.
• Read and produce texts that meet recreational, informative, and instructional needs.
• Write legible texts by hand, respecting basic lexical, orthographic, semantic, and grammatical aspects.
• Use progressively clearer and more precise oral and written language in terms of the terms and concepts employed.
• Acquire essential spelling knowledge for the correct use of oral and written language.
• Cultivate a love for literature in its different genres, collecting, reading, and producing texts based on oral culture and personal creativity.

Social Sciences

• Recognize their local district as part of a province and the country, as well as the elements of the natural and cultural geographical landscape that characterize it.

• Acknowledge the importance of local authorities.
• Understand the socio-economic relations that should exist between districts.
• Value norms of peaceful coexistence where human rights, respect for life, and the environment prevail.
• Appreciate the historical aspects of the district and the representative elements of our national folklore.

English

• Stimulate understanding of the basic rules of pronunciation, intonation, and rhythm.
• Promote self-confidence for better performance in and out of the classroom.

Mathematics

• Count, read, and write natural numbers, distinguishing between even and odd numbers, in both progressive and regressive order up to 100,000.
• Apply the positional and relative value of digits in a natural number <100,000.
• Develop operations of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division (+, -, x, ÷), applying the properties of addition and multiplication in solving problems with numbers <100,000.
• Recognize ordinal numbers <50º and Roman numerals.
• Establish relationships between length and time measurements, using International System of Units (SI) patterns.
• Draw and classify lines and their subsets on a plane.
• Infer the concept of angle, its description, and basic classification.

Natural Sciences

• Understand the importance of the vital functions of living beings and their relationship with species continuity.

• Recognize the layers of the Earth, emphasizing the importance of water, its benefits for life development in communities, and the functioning of the canal.
• Explain forms and sources of energy, their transformations, uses, and rationalization.
• Understand the behavior of planet Earth, its satellite the moon, and their relationship with the Solar System.

Physical Education

• Enhance basic psychomotor skills related to their physical and emotional development.
